Contemporary Philosophy of Mind 當代心理哲學(97上)

課程目的與內容:
本課程屬廣包性課程,目的在於介紹當代心理哲學中的重要辯論,包括心理內容是否有寬與窄之分,內容外在論是否可以說明自我知識、意向狀態是否具有規範性、意識是否可以化約到物理現象、經驗之現象性格是否可被其表徵內容所窮盡、心理之標記為何等。就每一個辯論,我們盡量選擇具有代表性、且立場對立的一組論文,讓同學很快地掌握問題的焦點,如此,可以多留一些時間做進一步的反省與探討。
本課程預期要達到的效果是,同學們將透過閱讀基本文獻,比較有系統地掌握當代心理哲學中的諸多議題,以作為進一步閱讀重要專著的準備。

課程形式:由老師針對閱讀文獻做補充與說明,並就其中的主要問題進行討論;要求同學在課前做閱讀、準備好問題、事先寄給老師。

 

課程要求:
1. 課堂參與(20%):課前準備(上課前一天把把問題寄給老師)、正常出席、課堂討論、口頭報告、隨堂小考;
2. 平時作業(40%):針對每一個主題,都有一些指定問題,讓同學作答;
3. 期末報告(40%):哲學論文一篇,最好從平時作業自然地發展出來,必須有自己的立場、辯護明確的論旨。
