課程內容：
本課程為必選的專家課程之一，主要目的是要同學學習如何仔細地閱讀重要的哲學經典、並學習做進一步的哲學分
析與批判討論。本課程的內容為休謨最重要的著作，A Treatise of Human Nature。涵蓋的主題將包括：
(1) 休謨的心理哲學；
(2) 休模的自我理論；
(3) 休謨的情感與行動理論；
(4) 休謨的道德理論。

授課方式：
前半部主要以演講的方式進行，以主題切入文本，同學必須事先閱讀，在課前把問題寄給老師，以便形成討論焦
點。

評分方式：
1. 課堂參與(20%)：包括課前準備（閱讀、提問）、課堂討論、口頭報告；
2. 平時作業(40%)：包括翻譯、段落摘要、論點重整等不同形式的指定作業；
3. 期末論文(40%)。
