課程名稱：行動哲學(Philosophy of Action)

課程目的與內容：
人與世界有兩種重要的關係，分別是知識與行動：在知識中，我們掌握世界的樣貌，而透過行動，我
們改變並控制世界。在行動中，許多人的特色（包括主體性、因果力、自由意志、道德擔當等）被體現出來，因
此很自然地，行動成為不同哲學領域的共同關懷課題：形上學家關心行動主體性的特徵在哪（人作為人的特
色）、以及自由意志是否可能，心理哲學家則探討行動與非行動的差別在哪、解釋行動和解釋其它現象有何不
同，而倫理學家有興趣的是道德責任的成立條件、以及實踐思考的特徵與結構。
本課程屬廣包性課程，目的在介紹當代行動哲學中的重要理論：
(1) Donald Davidson「行動之因果理論」(the causal theory of action)；
(2) Elizabeth Anscombe意圖理論；
(3) John McDowell行動理論；
(4) Kieran Setiya行動理論；
(5) David Velleman行動理論；
(6) Joseph Raz行動理論；
(7) Gary Watson責任理論。

課程形式：由老師針對閱讀文獻做補充與說明，並就其中的主要問題進行討論；要求同學在課前做閱讀、準備好
問題、事先寄給老師。

課程要求：
1. 課堂參與(20%)：課前準備（上課前一天把問題貼在Moodle上）、正常出席、課堂討論、口頭報
告、隨堂小考。
2. 平時作業(40%)：針對每一個主題，都有一些指定問題，讓同學作答。
3. 期末報告(40%)：哲學論文一篇，最好從平時作業自然地發展出來，必須有自己的立場、辯護明確的
論旨。
